Had an amazing weekend getting to know my new clients Nick and Hannah in Denver, Colorado. We started the day downtown at 5300 ft and finished our photo shoot at 12,000 ft at Loveland Pass. Denver is an amazing city for photography. It has so much creative and wonderful architecture to work with and I found that every other block offered something fresh and different to work with. I’m really hoping for future visits and opportunities to serve others with creative photography in this delightful city. Then of course there is the mountains! Although I was very excited to get creative at these mountain peeks, I was also just a little intimidated. I was curious what kind of learning curve it would come with as I’ve never done landscape photography and I’ve cut all my photography teeth in the rolling hills of Kansas City. So I approached this portion of it like I do all my photo shoots and went on a creative adventure working to unlock this mountain top for all of it’s raw and beautiful potential and I’m more than thrilled with the results. Also, so you that you know, it was 85˚ in downtown Denver and about 30˚ with snow at 12,000 ft. Nick and Hannah never complained once! Our noses were running, (and I kept asking them to kiss) and our hands were cold, but all our hard work together paid off and in my humble opinion the photos turned out grand. Below are just a few of my favorites from our time together.
